Aggregate Concatenation
Aggregate Concatenation is the interconnection at aggregate level of two co-located
SMX3/40 units. In this mode the Concatenation Port is enabled as DTE with Timing X
enabled. The timing signal is then transmitted on pins 7 and 14 (Xa and Xb).
Aggregate Concatenation to a co-located SMX3/40 requires a five twisted pair cross-
over cable of, pins A to A and B to B:

Maximum recommended length 5m; absolute maximum 10m.
